As an American raised amidst typical cultural norms, I was taught that the concept of self is tied to a mystical "soul" that shapes our behaviors, cognition, and feelings. However, this is a far cry from reality. The true self is shaped by an intricate interplay of biology and environment, with some traits heavily influenced by social factors than others.

It is an undeniable fact that we are the product of the influence of others and the societal systems we interact with. We can either choose to overlook this fact and cling to a false sense of control, or we can confront the truth, learn how to navigate this fascinating world, and emerge successful on personal, professional, and financial fronts. I have chosen the path of knowledge and understanding.
